At the beginning of her exciting career journey, earthwild partnership Co-Executive Director, Sibel Lami, has a 2:1 BA (Hons) In International Business Management and is currently studying for an MA In Procurement & Supply Chain Management. With a keen interest in corporate green supply chains, CSR, sustainability and environmental strategies — through earthwild Sustainability / CSR — Sibel will be leading on the development and management of this earthwild consultancy. For her dissertation, Sibel directed her passion for sustainability to focus on the: 'Global Good Practices, Adherence & Promoting Good Business Ethics: The Case Of Marks & Spencer'. For a special project during her International Business Management degree, Sibel was afforded the incredible opportunity to personally present her team's 'Barley Bear' artificial intelligence project to the highly-respected and influential global businessman Sir Ian Wood who showed interest in further developing this business idea.
During a career spanning more than 35-years, to date, Co-Director, Gary Roberts, successfully established two other environmental communications consultancies – Archmain & Verde – developing, growing and managing each company for well over a decade. Both consultancies grew through proactive business development and engagement with a diversity of clients. His experience and association with the corporate sector began in the 1980’s working on the restoration of a chalk quarry, operated by Castle Cement, to create a nature reserve. Through a 15-year relationship with Butterfly Conservation, Gary enjoyed delivering partnerships with companies including ICI & Land Rover, as well as designing and launching the charity’s corporate membership scheme. Since 1993 he has enjoyed working in a consultancy capacity with Portuguese business – Ilustranatur. A relationship that continues to this day. Working in partnership with the MD, Gary gained invaluable experience managing the communications, brand development, marketing and external relations for an independent financial services company that included a training school.
Both earthwild directors have experience working with community interest companies and social enterprises. During 2020 this focused on Petit Miracle Interiors Ltd and a Scottish social enterprise.
